	European Social Forum: Troops Out of Iraq March and Rally London, 17 Oct, 2004 Tony Benn


		Tempers ran high when the event organisers refused a spokesperson access to the platform to talk about arrested demonstrators
		One man who managed to get inside the security cordon was arrested by police before he could tell demonstrators what had happened
		Policeman makes a V-sign towards screen image of Tony Benn as demonstrator is held Stewards continued to keep those wanting to address the crowd at bay. I'm told police later detained various others inside the security area on a random basis, but I had slipped out and gone home by then.
