 The swans begin to suspect something is happening |

 And dive into the middle of some bushes before the uppers can reach them. |

 One of the adults comes up onto the bank, and was caught by an upper shortly after I took this picture |

 Its legs tied, this swan waits calmly on the floor of the skiff. |
