Police March for More Pay

Westminster, London. Jan 23, 2008

The Professional Protest Stall, manned by the Space Hijackers, offered police some much needed advice

on writing placards and slogans to chant. They also had anti-FIT masks on offer.

Some police took the leaflets

And some allowed themselves to smile, but others were abusive, some using language that could have got them arrested if there were any police around.

One police in 20,000 with a sense of humour

Handing in petitions at the Home Office was a wasted opportunity for some media publicity

On the river

Although there was a large number of protestors on the street, the organisers seem to have given little if any thought to how otherwise they might get media attention. In particular there was little visual interest. Next time they would be well advised to contact the Space Hijackers for some advice before taking to the streets!
