Ukrainians Told 'Release Hunger Strikers'

Ukrainian Embassy, Holland Park, London. Monday 6 Feb 2012

Things got a little easier to photograph as more protesters arrived

One of the protesters was a Somali

A couple of police had arrived after we had been there around half an hour as the embassy had called them

The officers told us that the embassy wasn't willing to take a letter as the protest had not been authorised.
As I left to go to a meeting the protesters were trying to find a way they could deliver the letter rather than
simply post it. A former Somali minister was expected to arrive to take part in the protest and hand it in.
