Budget Media Village Protest

College Green, Westminster, London. Tuesday 21 March 2012

 A poet performs

Clare from Winvisible was one of many who spoke at the event

A police officer takes the microphone to ask the protesters to move to Old Palace Yard, as they are on private

land, owned by the Palace of Westminster

Protesters tell him that the people are the owners of the Palace of Westminster, our parliament

and that to move would take them away from the TV cameras which should be reporting the event (but didn't)

'Diamone Jubilee? Id Prefer a Debt Jubilee!'

Ian Bone (right) holds up a Class War poster 'We have found New Homes For The Rich!' of a military cemetery

Anarchists take over an empty stand erected for TV cameras

And put up the Alarm (All London Anacrchist Revolutionary Movement) banner

and display posters

Another Class War poster 'We must Devastate the avenues where the wealthy live!' , again an old magazine cover

Ian Bone makes a speech that amuses the audience

declaring the great victory against those "Eton Boys and Girls" of seizing the platform.Tomorrow he said, the country!
