Green IS Working

Westminster, London. Thu 18 Oct 2012

There was a small group of counter-protesters who were against carbon tax and climate deniers

The main protest wore green hard hats and included various groups - such as the WI

 Quakers for a green economy

I found it hard to decide where to focus, particularly as I was rather precariously perched to get a higher viewpoint

Thehead of the protest on the slope up to the Treasury door

 The TUC were taking part

As well as someone I didn't recognise, apparently Deborah Meaden of TV's 'Dragon's Den'

The idea was to copy the Saatchi ad 'Labour isn't working' but it didn't really work at all

The official photographer shouted out the instruction to wave the hats in the air
