	Against Workfare and Tax Cheats Oxford St, London. Sat 20 Oct 2012
	The protest continued along Oxford St A few people did get into shops, but mainly there were police to block the entrance Quite a few managed to get into Boots on Upper Regent St but after standing around and shouting for a bit they left quietly by a side door There was a token visit to the Salvation Army, also using free Workfare labout then we continued along Oxford St
	After a largish group managed to invade Primark, police seemed to get a little rougher and arrested one protester. They tried to hide him from cameras as they twisted his arms behind his back I protested at the police violence against him and was told by an officer I should be more worried about one of his colleagues who had just been injured. I hadn't seen that, and felt the comment suggested that they were taking it out on a protester in a quite unjustified manner. The main body of protesters were some way ahead by the time I had argued with the police, and it was time for me to go home .
