	Boycott Workfare Surprise Party in Brixton Brixton, London. Wed 12 Dec 2012
	The next stop was Poundland, where they held the banner next to the door and handed out flyers as well as letting people know that Poundland were abusing the unemployed, using them as free labour At Superdrug a security guard came out and told the protesters they were not allowed to protest on the street outside They laughed at him and told him he was mistaken - they had every right to protest on the highway He saw I was photographing and threatened to smash my camera But I moved back and the protesters persuaded him he would be breaking the law if he touched me The protesters continued to argue and explain why they were protesting
	The security man wasn't aware that Superdrug were using free labour of unemployed people who had no choice but to work for nothing or lose their benefits, and I think he understood why people were protesting He went back inside Superdrug and the protest continued Many of those passing by on the busy high street took leaflets and studied them
