Protest Against Colombian 'Vulture of Death'

Senate House, University of London. Thu 31 Oct 2013

The protesters met in the car park outside Senate House.

They decided to hold the protest inside the lobby in front of the main door to the Senate House

and moved in with their banners

University of London security watched them but made no attempt to stop them

'Uribe Criminal'

Unison SOAS was supporting the protest, and a number of the Latin American cleaners were there

There were many posters, mainly in English, against the former President being invited to speak

Among the posters was one calling him 'The Vulture of Death'

'Uribe Genocide - Your crimes will never be forgotten'

The police arrived, wnet in and talked, came out and went and sate in their van outside the building

Protesters call Uriobe a paramilitary and a drug trafficker
