Benefits Street Protest at Love Films

Holborn, London. Mon 13 Jan 2014

 

 
 A woman from Barnet Alliance for Public Services at the protest

 Police talk with ne of the Unite organisers asking that the road be kept open

 The protest began with shouting slogans at the offices of Love Films

 

 

 

 People hold the Unite Community banner

 

 and there were plenty of Unite community flags. Several protesters were from Defend Counfil Housing
      
  and there were some from Kilburn Unemployed Workers group
 
A leaflet 'Exposing the myths of welfafe'. Benefits Street was said to promote the myths 

Protesters called for 'fairness - justice - respect. 

A protester came past on a unicycle 

others were in wheelchairs
