Atos National Day of Action

Triton Square, London. Wed 19 Feb 2014

The protest outside the Atos HQ had been set to start at 10.00 am, but little was happening as I arrived

Dennis Skinner MP had come to speak. Last October he raised the case of a constituent who had died after being passed fit for work in the

House of Commons at Prime Minister's Questions

Many others have died shortly after being told by ATOS they were fit for work

The tests ATOS use are flawed, but they have also set strict targets that forve assessors to find

many more people fit for work than there really are - or lose their own jobs

People are not assessed on their actual medical conditions, but on the answers the assessors think they merit on certain tests

Often these answers have been inferred from trick questions or incorrect assumptions

and many disabled people have been 'tricked' out of benefits that they deserve and need.

The poster 'Ian Duncan Smith Stole My Beneftis' reflects these corrupt practices, showing him as as devil & as Hitler

But as Paula Peters says in her placard 'We are not Law-Breakers, We Are Law-Makers'. Disabled people want
just laws that are properly adminstered, with tests of capability to work based on proper medical assessment
peferably by those who know most about the medical conditions of the individual concerned
