London is not for sale

City Hall, London. Thu 6 Mar 2014

 

 
 The protest took place in front of City Hall, the whole area is part of the private estate 'More London'

 Some people had brought estate agents signs and there was a competition for the borough who had brought

 most, with Hackney at 33 just pippling Islington

 

 Londoners need decent, secure truly-affordable homes

 'London Not' stickers were added in front of the 'To Let' or 'For Sale' on the signs

 Some of the signs also had added messages, such as this one calling for an end to bogus fees

 

 The signs were arranged in the shape of a house

  although really I would have had to have a drone to photograph it properly
 
 

Quadrant House & Blackfriars Road residents came with placards 'No to Social Cleansing, No to SPD' ( Supplementary Planning Document ) 
      
 

 

Security objected to chalking on the stone block paving - where the protesters had intended to draw a map of London
