Support for Harmondsworth Mass Hunger Strike

Harmondsworth, Middx. Mon 5 May 2014

People waved at the prisoners, and some were able to speak to those inside Colnbrook and Harmondsworth

on mobile phones. After a long and noisy protest, the protesters moved around the the back of the prison

Harmondsworth on the left, BT property befhind the lower fence to the right

More of the detainees held in the prison came to wave, and protesters waved back

and made a lot of noise

One former detainee at the centre pointed out where he had been held

We could vaguely see a lot of hands and very dim faces in the windows. As well as the grid of the fence there is a layer of dirty glass and another of plexiglass between them and us.
