	Public lavatories used to be a matter of civic pride - now are run for private profit Jubilee Gardens Shell centre St Thomas's Hospital Bust of Violette Szabo, 1921 - 1945, on monument to SOE, the Maquis and the Norwegian resistance commandos, heroes of Telemark. Szabo, posthumously awarded the George Cross and the Croix de Guerre, was one of the 117 of SOE 470 agents sent to France who did not survive Sculptor: Karen Newman. Unveiled in 2009. A few yards further upstream is the Lambeth Millennium Tree, an evergreen Holm Oak planted in 1999. Lambeth Palace
