Focus E15 Support Homeless Mother

Bridge House, Stratford, London. Tue 25 Nov 2014

People walk down from Stratford Station

Towards Bridge House - the yellow building

The group looks at the back entrance, but decides to go to the front door

Where they meet up with Candice and her child, who the council want to rehouse in private rented accomodation in Liverpool

Candice pushes her buggy and child towards the Housing Office door

 and is allowed in

But the security men won't let Sam and Jasmine in to attend her interview with her

Somehow Stan has managed to slip in

But the rest of us - together with two people filming - are left outside

Sam and Jasmine try to open the other half of the door

and there is a struggle

Eventually Sam and Jasmine are allowed inside but secuirty shut the doors

to keep the rest of us out

Candice talks with one of the Housing officials while the others inside look on

We can't hear what is being said and can only photograph through the glass doors which are partly covered with notices

The doors have been locked and nobody is being allowed in

The discussion continues at Reception
