Aylesbury Estate Occupation

Aylesbury Estate, Southwark, London. Thur 5 Feb 2015

Another clear view through the broken window

The fire doors on the long corridors are apparently a failry recent addition

 more flats get their notices

to the north they are already building

Job done here - and they wait for the lift

outside they stop to talk with people at the bus stop and hand out leaflets. I leave as the go to another block

Other parts of Chartridge have been smashed up inside by the council to stop them being occupied

and metal plates block the walkway entrances

a broken water main floods the path - possibly more council vandalism to stop the supply to the occupatino

The occupied block seen from the neighbouring flats

and another occupier climbs back in as I leave
