Free Shaker Aamer vigils continue

Parliament Square, Westminster, London. Wed 18 Mar 2015

The day after Parliament debated the continuing imprisonment of Shaker Aamer in Guantanamo, despite

his clearance for release years ago, the Free Shaker Aamer Campaign turned up yet again for its regular

weekly vigil outside Parliament while it is in session.

'BrinG Shaker Aamer Home From Guantanamo - Cleared for Release 2007 & 2009 - Let him Go !'

Though parliament called for him to be released, the campaigners still feel that UK secuirty service is stopping his

release, as he is a witness to their complicity in the US torture at Bagram and Guantanamo, both of himself and

of other prisoners.
