Stations of the Cross Pilgrimage

Westminster, London. Thu 2 Apr 2015

The 'geography of suffering' pilgrimage in London walks past the G4S offices and the Free the Palestinian Children protest there

And many of them take the flyers

 They crossed Victoria St

and made their way along Buckingham Gate

 crossing it

to get to the offices of arms company Qinetiq where they stopped for prayers

A security man cam out and told them they couldn't protest there. They told him it was the public highway and
if they wanted to protest they could. But they had come to pray not to protest

He continued to argue with them. They had in any case more or less finished their service there
and eventually decided to continue on their pilgrimage

They processed back up Buckingham Gate

to the offices of Rolls-Royce another weapons manufacturer

where they held their next service

The 'Stations of the Cross' was a day early - as this was Maundy Thursday
