But soon police realised that too many protesters had simply walked past them and stood to the side People go through the gap between police vans on the edge of Parliament Square The Ahwazi protesters stopped in Parliament Square for a rally while the rest marched on A man stoppe a police van briefly, but soon moved as police threated to carry him away The marchers continued around Westminster and I met up with them again on Tothill St, where police protected the Dept of Work & Pensions in Caxton House and the Tory Party HQ around the corner Later they came back up Whitehall and protested noisily outside Downing St to a large audience of police in front of the gates |
