UK Uncut Art Protest

Westminster Bridge, London. Sat 30 May 2015

The painting continues and the slogan is '£12 bn more cuts £120 bn tax dodged - AUSTERITY IS A LIE'

When the painting is finished people lift up the banner

and carry it to the edge of the bridge

Where it is lowered over the parapet

and I rush down to the Albert Embankment to photograph it

The banner was held over the parapet of the bridge and smoke flares set off

It all seems something of an antii-climax. '£12 bn more cuts £120 bn tax dodged - Austerity is a lie'

In Parliament Square where many of the protesters now go, a protest against getting rid of the Human Rights Act is coming to an end
