And there is a lock at Dorney Reach The Jubilee River, built to divert Thames floods away from Maidenhead and Dorney down to Wraysbury and Staines Our OS map marked both the Jubilee River and a footpath that used to go across where it now runs. But we didn't swim We had meant to cross the Jubilee River then come back across this bridge half a mile downstream A view from the bridge We walked back along the footpath to the pub - where the food is rather better than the average pub. |
