Focus E15 and Boleyn Ground campaign together

Stratford Broadway, London. Sat 1 Aug 2015

'Social Housing Not Social Cleansing' on a Focus E15 t-shirt

The Robin Wales selfie stick and a young protesters with a sign 'I say No Eviction'

The Robin Wales selfie stick gets in a lot of pictures

With the protesters holding it as they hand out leaflets. And the East End Howler headline 'Keep the Rich off our Pitch'

More Robin Wales selfie sticks and the petition ready to collect signatures

The text on the back of the selfie stick often shows through

A large banner at the back of the protest calls Robin Wales 'The Sherrif of Newham, Robbing the Poor'. He is developing Newham to attract new and

wealthier residents and is reported to have told people who can't afford the high rents to move away. People made homeless

like the Focus E15 mothers were told they had to go to Birmingham or Hastings etc, but they fought to stay here

where they had friends, families, jobs, nurseries etc

Their banner says 'No Social Cleansing' and 'Stop forcing people away from their support networks',

'London for EVERYONE not just the rich' and 'Stop selling public homes & land for private profit.'
