Nitrous Oxide - 'My Mind, My choice!'

Parliament Square, London. Sat 1 Aug 2015

Protesters fill balloons with nitrous oxide.

and balloons were handed out to anyone who wanted one

It was approaching 3pm and everyone was getting ready

People are advised to sit down to inhale nitrous oxide, as it can make you stagger and fall

 and everyone gets ready

they raise the balloons in the air for photographers

And as Bign Ben strikes they begin to inhale

People breath in and out into balloons

though the smell of rubber would put me off

One of the organisers is interviewed

A woman lights incense sticks. Some churches are worried that the bill as currently drafted would also make incense illegal

Some people continue to take nitrous oxide after the official protest
