Global March for Elephants and Rhinos

London. Sat 3 Oct 2015

There were 96 protesters dressed in these elephant costumes - the number killed by poachers every day

They were listening to speakers when I arrived at Cavendish Square

and filed out of the square for the march

There were some other elephants also as well as some in sillier costumes

A woman with two elephants on her glasses - I phtoographed her again later on the march

'Hands Off Our Wildlife' - and an elephant is killed by poachers every 15 minutes - 96 in a day

Sounds of Africa, Luyanda on Oxford St

The marchers kept to the pavement

going down Regent St

An elephant was also drumming

As well as two elephants on her glasses she also had a rhino glove puppet

'Stop the Bloody Ivory Trade - Extinction is forever'

'David Cameron keep your pledge: ban ALL ivory trade in the UK'
