MfJ 'Set Her Free' protest at Yarl's Wood

Yarl's Wood, nr Bedford. Sat 7 Nov 2015

Kicking the fence makes a very loud noise

'The Grass is always greener when there are no sides' 'Borders Kill - Free All prisoners now!'

End State Violence Against Women ' 'The people United will never be defeated!'

Some had brought posters on long canes to hold them up about the solid fence so those inside could see them

 People arrived with large banners

and palletts to make a stage

Ladders were hooked over the top of the fence

  And the sky opened

Protection Not Prisons

Rain was pouring down

As the rain slackened off, two people climbed ladders holding each end of a long banner

Behind the rain came some sun

I htink the big banner had two sides with the same message

#SetHerFree  - most of those held in Yarl's Wood are women
