Hull - City of Culture 2017

 Hull Northern Cemetary has a memorial to those killed by enemy air raids in 1939-45

 A huge proportion of housing around the university is now student lets

 Sharp St Warm memorial has been cleaned up since I photographed it around 1980

 An impressive gateway to Pearson Park

 The Dorchester was once owned by a cousin of Linda

 Beverley Rd baths and elementary school

 The Bull Inn - still open as a pub

 
 
At Prince's Dock a rather more elegant building faces an ugly modern shopping centre in the dock 

Some of the older dockside buildings are now bars etc 

A grand entrance to what is now a public car park, Zebedee's Yard

Carmelite House - offices to let 

1864 Parish Offices - now to let 

The Minerva has come up in the world and was full to bursting at Sunday lunchtime
