Shut Guantanamo, End Indefinite Detention

US Embassy, London. Thu 3 Mar 2016

It was getting very dark when the protest began at 6pm outside the US Embassy

Police came across for a friendly chat as the protesters set up.

The protesters carry a long banner and lay it down at the base of the fence

One of the banners was in a patch of light along the embassy fence, but they lit candles in a darker area

Letters spell out 'CLOSE GUANTANAMO' and each letter was marked by a candle

Occasionally a gust of wind meant the candles had to be re-lit
