Bunhill Fields Under Threat

Bunhill Fields, London. Sun 6 Mar 2016

Daffodils in flower around the graves in Bunhill Fields

Many of the inscriptions on the stones are difficult or impossible to read

The tomb of John Bunyan, best known for his 'Pilgrims Progess'

Most buildings close to Bunhill Fields are fairly low, giving it and its trees an open aspect

William Blake was buried a little this side of the tree on the far side of the path. His wife on the south side of the cemetery close to Susannah Wesley

The only really tall tower close to Bunhill fields, across the road, is said to have
included the council flat where the Krays mother lived and they were arrested
