Capita Cleaners strike against racism

 Drums and horns make the protest very noticeable along the street and inside the building

 Capita asked the cleaning contractor Mitie to cut down on the hours worked by cleaners

 They did so by cutting hours only from the African workers among the cleaners, dismissing one of them in

 what clearly seems to have been discrimination on grounds of race

RMT Regional President Glenroy Watson speaks at the rally, pledging the support of the RMT. There is no place 

for racism, and he says the RMT will oppose Mitie getting contracts with Transport for London if they all managers to be racist. 

 

 

An angry man in a suit complains about the noise of the protest. The protesters tell himthat if the racism stops they will stop protesting 

There were many more who expressed sympathy with the protesters.
