	UVW Cleaners strike in City 100 Wood St, London. Wed 8 Jun 2016
	Ian Bone of Class War arrives at the picket at 100 Wood St The picket has been outside the entrance since early morning Jane Nicholl of Class War shows Petros Elia, UVW General Secretary, the 10 metre length of hazard tape Jane Nicholl and Ian Bone People were still able to go in and out of 100 Wood St as normal despite the presence of the picket. An e-mail sent by management to workers the day before had suggested the building might need to be under lock-down but the picket and protest were peaceful and lawful, making the case for the cleaners. A banner on the pavement tells people that Thames were happy to spend over £20,000 taking the cleaners to court, but not to pay them properly.
	'Is it too much to ask to be paid a living wage!' Those on the picket get ready to move away from the building the 10 metres required by the injunction for them to protest Drums are handed out And the UVW carefully measure the distance required by the injunction which takes them most of the way across Wood St A car stops for them to measure across the road
