The protest continues outside Clapham Junction
Until it's time to march ot the theatre
'Social Housing NOT Social Cleansing' makes for a snappier slogan
- but really we need Council Housing
as most housing associations have now lost their original purpose
and are now acting much like other property developers
There had been a breif discussion about whether to march on the pavement,
but that didn't appeal to activists
but the road was wide enough to allow vehicles to pass the march with
care

The march arrives at Battersea Arts Centre
and they continue noisily in the Foyer for a few minutes
The activists are getting free tickets to watch the performance, and
I could have seen it too
but I have to come back in a week's time to take part in a panel discussion,
Art & Accidental Activism,
along with Max Stafford Clark, Jeremy Hardy and Dawn Foster after
the performance and will see it then.
