Break UK silence over Iran uprising

The PMOI/MEK had to leave Iran and were housed in camps in Iraq. When
the USA left Iraq they were abandoned
They are active in several Western countries and have set up a government
in exile
The protest called for action by the international community to release
the 8,000 prisoners detained
The Iranian regime executed around 437 people in 2016, many of them
political dissidents. Others get long jail terms
Human rights activists in Iran get long sentences for protesting against
the executions
The Iranian flag with the lion dates back to before the Islamic revolution
- the Pahlavi flag.
