End government killings in Nicaragua

Trafalgar Square, London. Sun 10 Jun 2018

Nicaraguans meet up for the protest in Trafalgar Square

and move their banner when one of the pavement artists complains it is too close to his pitch

and they put it own a little further away

There are a few posters about the murders by dictators Ortega and Murillo

as well as the long one with names of the 138 murdered (it had gone up to 145 on the day of the protest0

 where the protesters laid roses

One of the organisers painted red hands on the white t-shirts

and people also wore black ribbons

Some pose with the Nicaraguan flag

and one wears a dress in the colours of the flag

small posters are made with the same red sprayed around a glove

The names of the dead are read out

A woman brings a small table with candles and a plaster saint

Some hold the painted posters with various messages on them calling for justice
