Whitehaven
Whitehaven, Cumbria. Mon 3 Sep 2018
The gallery outside isn't open to the public but you can photograph
through the glass, which was pretty clean
Here is a series of images made through each of a dozen windows in
turn
I had hoped to join this set up to form a panorama, but couldn't
join them perfectly
You can see some windfarms from the Beacon
and Scotland, a little over 20 miles away
a lock leads to the sea
and there is a shelter in the harbour where you can sit, though we
did get cold and wet doing so
A boat goes into the lock
After freezing while we ate our sandwiches we walked into the town
Burtons, built in 1938, on the corner of King Street and Lowther Street
