Vedanta's Final AGM

Lincoln's Inn Fields, London. Mon1 Oct 2018

Foil Vedanta arrive on the pavement outside where Vedanta's final AGM is to be held

but police soon move them away to the opposite side of the road

Samarendra Das shows me Foil Vendanta's report ‘Vedanta’s Billions: Regulatory failure, environment and human rights’

which gives a comprehensive account of the company’s crimes at all of its operations, and the City of London’s complicity

Miriam Rose holds a copy of the report as she is interviewed

Faces on Foil Vedanta's 'Hall of Shame' banner include Anil Agarwal and former PM David Cameron, along with
others who have been involived in the company

Vedanta’s corporate massacre of 13 environmental protesters at Thoothukudi in May has made it impossible

for the CIty to continue to support Vedanta openly, though there is little doubt that the CIty will still be involved

and complicit in the company's many crimes

They poisoned the river in Zambia - and evaded taxes, as earlier Foil Vedanta invesigations proved

Many protesters in India have been imprisoned

 and Vedanta hides its profits

WHen Prime Minister David Cameron lobbied the Indian government on behalf of Vedanta

London is a Paradise of Parasites - but at last Vedanta is no longer a UK listed company

Samarendra Das speaks before going into the AGM as a shareholder to question the company's activities
