People prepare for the vigil, taping posters with photographs of those
who died because of borders to the pavement
in fron t of the Home Office.

Peole gather for a photograph
and then the vigil begins with the reading of the names of people
who died beacuse of borders - each person
reads a few and then passes the book with the list of names on to
another person to read
People had been asked to wear red if they could and quite a few did
Somew had pink scarves
I handed the list on to the woman beside me when I had read some names
and my voice was breaking up
