End TfL Discrimination against private hire

Blackfriars Rd, London. Mon 28 Jan 2019

Drivers gathered on the pavement outside TfL at the start of the protest

They had parked in both lanes of the southbound carriageway

And then began to protest on the road

'TfL Driving Us Into Poverty'

People watch from the offices above

Some drivers put banners on their windscreens

 or car bonnets

After parking they walked down to meet the others outside TfL

The NSSN had come to show solidarity

Many of the drivers are in the British Bangladesh Mincab Drivers Association

The IWGB has brought together different groups of drivers in the UPHD - United Private Hire Drivers

The building which houses the TfL towers above one of the speakers

and another points angrily up at it

Numbers at the protest are still growing

 UPHD General Secretary James Farrar
