Brexiteers march at Westminster
Westminster Bridge, London. Sat 13 Apr 2019
As I made my way to the station I met thyellow-jacketed Brexiteers
coming in the opposite direction
across Waterloo Brdige, and got out my cameras again to take a few
pictures.
'Freedom, Justice, Respect' is a good slogan, but their views are
hardly in line with it.
No sensible person beleives we could ''Walk Away & Pay Them Nothing'
without ruining our future trade
prospects - and getting on the wrong side of many disastrous court
proceedings ending up costing more....
One of the marchers was a Black woman, holding up a sign about the
referendum majority. But it was a vote for
a promise that was impossible, and had it been mandatory would have
been challenged in court and invalidated.
We were sold the impossible, and things were made worse by a government
that thought it could play poker when
what was needed was a serious attempt at finding a solution to the problems
that both the UK and Europe face.
