Police clear XR from Oxford Circus

People were locked on inside the tight cordon around the pink boat

Outside some held hands
One man urges the crowd to move forward and rescue the boat; a woman
tries to stop him and the crowd don't follow him
A small squad of police start arresting and carrying away some of
the protesters
Most of the protesters are now sitting down on Oxford St outside the
police cordon
Police specilists have arrived to deal with protesters who are locked
together or to the boat
Outside the cordon, protesters wait. A few dance, but most just sit.
Inside protesters wait to be arrested. Some have superglued their
hands to others
A police officer makes a final warning before arresting a protester
A protester is carried away
Another arrest is made
Another protester gets a final warning
Police start to lift up a protester
Another is arrested and carried away
The arrests continue

Others are still waiting to be arrested, but its time for me to leave
and I walk aout to take a few pictures outside the cordon in Oxford
St
and Regent St
adn the east side of Oxford St before going down into the station
on my way home.
